For many of us, bright colours are strictly reserved for warmer days. But if you ask me, a pop of colour will always brighten and lift up my spirits. There are a few easy ways to elevate your winter wardrobe and pulling off bright shades during the darker months is one of them.
It’s really important to tear yourself occasionally from your faithful black and instead inject some colour. It goes without saying that wearing too much of it can look a bit childish. To prevent you from losing style points, keep your palette simple or team with black for a cool contrast.
A show-stopping coat (like the powdery pink Lily coat), will look effortless when thrown over a classic all-black ensemble. It’s a simple way of looking like you’ve made more of an effort than you really have.
Grace & Oliver is right up there when it comes to invest in a stylish new coat. There’s something for literally anyone, regardless of your age, size and nevertheless your budget. From a timeless, belted camel coat with a super flattering long line silhouette to a more relaxed biker style.
The Lily coat had my name written all over it. I really love the mix of the traditional peacot style combined with the double back detailing. It really looks as if it has just walked off the catwalk.
I can’t go without mentioning the quality, either. All coats are made from the finest Italian wool blends, luxurious and super soft. And the great thing about these coats is that they can really be worn with anything, cherished for years to come.
